Matt knew he was destined to be working in the entertainment business when he studied sound, video and photography in high school. Acting as a reporter for his local community television station, it isn’t a surprise today that Matt continues to talk with notable celebrities and high profile industry heavy hitters while also working Canada’s biggest television shows.

Before heading south of the border to L.A, Matt spent over five years at Proper Television working on many of their hit series including 'MasterChef Canada' and 'Canada's Worst Driver'.

He went on to be a local reporter for York Region Living on Rogers TV covering lifestyle, culture, arts and entertainment. Currently, Matt can be recognized as an Entertainment Contributor across Canada on CTV News Today. His online hosting led to interviewing some of the world’s most recognized faces including Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, Mark Ruffalo, Avril Lavigne, Psy, So You Think You Can Dance's Mary Murphy, Lucy Hale, Cody Simpson, Shay Mitchell, Serena Ryder, Kris Allen, Fashion Host icon Jeanne Beker, the Scissor Sisters, Supermodel Petra Nemcova, and Keshia Chante, just to name a few.
